I have a 2009 pre face lift civic with these connections. One is an AUX wire and one is an IPOD wire .The Aux cable does not work when I plug this into my phone. Any ideas on how I can get this to work?

I press the AUX button on the stereo but nothing changes.

I just want to be able to play music from my android smartphone via AUX.

Any help appreciated please.

Yeah seems like an old ipod connector. I don't have the sat nav model, just the standard stereo. Just wanted a way to use this somehow to connect via AUX, but pressing the AUX button on the stereo doesn't do anything
