Hi all,

My civic has the AVIC-F930BT fitted and, while I'm very happy with it, I was just wondering if it is possible to add DAB somehow? Google has not returned anything so I was wondering if any of you clever people had any ideas?

TIA

Paul

Funny you should ask... I just had one fitted onto my F930 (from Impulse
01923 231 358) it's a hide away DAB+ reciever.
Don't suppose you've got the part number for the dab module?

It's called MediaDAB, it's not a Pioneer product. If you speak to Impulse they will give you more info
Just checked that MediaDAB out and seems expensive for what it is. Price I saw was £400 for the module??

Yeah it was about that price. I couldn't find anything else cheaper. I didn't want another product stuck on the glass and the MediaDAB was the neatiest and most discreet solution.
like the idea and tis a neat solution but too pricey for me. I hear you on the discreet solution though, much better than any others.

Quick one Bupps....after fitting it, did your reception get any better? Cos presently on my double-din F930 (also fitted by impulse), the radio stations are not that reliable.

Cheers

yeah the reception is alot better. I've learnt that the reception quality of the Pioneer unit isn't the best. But if you can loose the radio for a week, they can send the unit to Pioneer and they can adapt the tuner to make it more sensative. The service by Pioneer will be free but you'll be charged for the delivery there and back.
