Hi, 2008 civic type s 1.8,after having 5days alarm started going off, even after pressing key fob, manually locking door with key etc.
I have taken out the fuse to the horn for now but lights kept flashing as if the alarms still going off.

I then disconnected the bonnet switch and now the alarm doesn't seem to be going off.
However, after driving literally 10mtrs the avs warning come on.
Coincidence?
If I restart engine it goes off but comes on again after a minute.

Any ideas for either fault?

Cheers guys

Just checked and brake lights no longer work.
I'm 99% sure this is from taking the horn fuse out.
The alarm doesn't seem to going off now so il try putting horn fuse back in in the morning

AVS can be faulty ABS Wheel sensor. Could be a coincidence.

Around £350 to fix from memory if it is the sensor. Hopefully it's just the fuse issue.

Put the horn fuse back in and now warnings have gone away and brake lights work as expected.
Alarm hasn't gone off since I disconnected bonnet latch.
