Hi. Could anyone help. I have a mk8 civic ex 1.8. Recently when I have went to start the car after its been standing for about 8 hours when I've been at work I've come out to find that the car won't start and the battery is flat. I have bought new battery. Did volt test on battery and alternator both seem fine Did amp test and found Bluetooth unit was having a slight drain on battery so disconnected blue tooth unit. Everything was OK for a about a week but now the fault has started again. Any ideas what problem is???

Check the obvious glovebox and boot lights. After that you will need to do a drop down test using a multimeter to see if you can find the parasitic drain im afraid.

Also, note my post #4 here:

If a battery goes completely flat it will keep on doing it unless properly trickle charged through both layers.
