Dear All,

Does anyone know if the HTC One M9 is compatible with the Honda Hands Free System. It is a new phone and is not yet on the list of approved devices on hondahandsfree.com. I have contacted them and they have replied to say they haven't tested it yet. The M 8 which uses Bluetooth 4.0 is on their approved list but the M9 uses a newer Bluetooth version, 4.1.

Any Ideas?

Thanks

As usual new phones don't get tested for ages.

If you have one then let us know.

(I didn't know there was a M9) If it's stock Android though and the M 8 works then I would guess it will probably be OK.

My M7 contract runs out in October so I will bypass the M 8 then.

The M9 is the latest phone from HTC and only came out a few days ago. Guess I will have to convince a store to let me try it as I don't want it if it won't connect.

I think it will work OK.

Android Bluetooth is standard I reckon.

Question: Can this new phone (htc) mirror link eg, phone sat nav, to the new connect system in the facelift Civic?
In the US you can use an iphone sat nav app on the honda connect system fitted in cars there. It would nice if you could do that here!!
