2015 Civic Sport Navi with the new Android Infotainment system

For some reason whenever I play tunes from my Sansumg Note Edge using Bluetooth the volume isn't that loud.

In fact i have to put the volume in the car full up to achieve a reasonable playback level.

Have you checked the volume on your phone while it is playing through Bluetooth? When my iPhone is connected to my bike comms unit, I sometimes have the same issue.

From page 11 of the Honda Connect FAQ document:

Q: Why is the volume very low when I play songs through Bluetooth audio?
A: The volume of the Bluetooth audio playback is primarily governed by the phone volume setting. Therefore if the phone volume is low, the vehicle volume settings must be increased significantly to hear sound.
