Hi All
I am trying to fault trace why there is no power to my bonnet latch switch on my 2.2 diesel, I am guessing someone removed the fuse or it is blown, to paint the picture the doors open symbol and boot open symbol display on the car ok but the bonnet shows closed irrespective of whether it is or not, I have tested the microswitch and it is working but there is no voltage supply (presuming its not a milli volt supply, but there is no dedicated listing as to which fuse supplies that, does anyone have any ideas, I assumed it would be the same as the boot and doors but maybe not.

Thanks in advance

Update to the above. The alarm sets ok and I have established that the switch actually is working as it has a 12v supply but disappears after closing. so im guessing its where the wires feed to from the switch that needs investigating but cannot fathom where that might be

only a guess here
the bonnet catch is a know problem area for some cars and sets the alarm off a lot on some civics
maybe someone has bypassed something to stop this
