Does anyone know if it's possible to remove the bar that goes across the top of the boot in the CRV, from which the boot covers extend?
It wasn't obvious to me how to remove it. It's in the way, if you want to put something large into the boot, when the seats are down.

Its spring loaded each end, just push and remove.

As PeterUK says just push in one direction and then lift it up and it will pop out.

Sometimes the easy, is all too easy to miss.

For example in my case...

I have a memory stick in my CRV's audio USB socket with over 80 albums on. I have always used the album up & down buttons to go to the album I want - very, very slowly and monotonously!!!!!

I discovered a few days ago by accident that if I press the centre button I can turn the main knob and the display runs through all the albums instantly, then press the button again twice to select. doh!

Is that with the satnav option, or the non-satnav? I have the satnav option, and I also have a memory stick plugged in. I think the system needs a search facility because it can take ages to get to the album you want.
Is someone going to tell me now that there is a search facility that I don't know about?

Satnav? no I have ES model with just a radio/CD.. Had it a year and only just discovered this feature.

I have Sat Nav with touch screen.
If you touch the middle on screen button it brings up a folder list which you can scroll down using the screen or the joystick at the top RH.

but I was so dissapointed with the way the usb locks my iphone and had what seemed to be such poor control via the stereo/steering wheel :

I read the manual - there are tumps of things that I had'nt realised in there... Might just turn over a new leaf..
