I'm a bit hacked off about the boot leaking. I'd only had the car 3 weeks when it first started leaking.

It's been at the dealer 6 days and I got it back on Thursday.

We had a heavy downpour today (sunday)and there is more water in the boot than there was the first time I took it in!

Why is the boot designed so it leaks so easily and why cannot someone brought in by the dealer, so I guess an expert, fix it properly!!!

It's not the only issue either. Although minor issues it's clearly not been checked as per the used approved adverts suggest.

Didn't you know about the extra Honda boot spa feature?. You pop the boot and get loads of babes to splash about in bikinis in it.

on a serious note. it is most likely to be the joint between the plexi glass and the rear screen.

Just been out for a takeaway and there is water dropping from the bar across the rear window.

I could see it in the rear view mirror. Talk about winding me up.

The dealer said they could see the original leak and had ordered a new seal. I think this so called specialist has fitted it incorrectly.

Originally the water came out of the holes to replace the lights and the joins higher up on the plastic liner on the back of the tailgate but only when it was opened.

I had read about this 'feature' but there are not that many people on here complaining.

Still. To keep it in perspective I once had a laguna 2. The 'features' that had would make your eyes water.

Just had the same problem. £5 tube of Sika Seal cured it and I'm more confident in this as a permanent fix than a dealer one.

Took ages to get all the water out the boot and hatch and dry it out. Just glad it happened now and not in the winter.

Is this easy to do? The wife says the dealer should do it as we just parted with 8 grand but if it's an easy fix I'm tempted to have a ago.
