Hey dudes.
I'm about to purchase some new EBC Turbo Groove front disks for my FN2. The red stuff pads I have on the front were only put on in October; do I really need to buy new pads as well as disks?

I'd rather use the money to get some hoses.

Maybe I didn't word that correctly.
Is it standard procedure to buy new pads whenever you buy new disks regardless of the condition of the currently installed pads?

(which are practically new on mine)

Please someone! Help!

It is normally advisable to have new pads when changing the disks.

I found the turbo disks and red stuff pads very noisey and the pad wore down really quick, it was on my Nissan Pulsar gti-r though.

I would buy new pads. Otherwise your new discs will build up grooves where your old discs had them. Because your "old" pads won´t have an even surface anymore.......even if they were fitted recently

Maybe I should stretch the budget and go for disks, pads AND hoses.
Damn! I'm meant to be saving! lol
