Hello All

I purchased a 5 year budget plan servicing under Honda Happiness for £540 towards Civic Type-S 1.4 Petrol (3 months old).

Is this a good deal and is it the same as 5 year Fixed Price plan?

The service schedule doesn't include spark plugs, fuel filter and anti-freeze but on the last service includes manifold.

Will this mean I may incur costs for checking spark plugs additionally.

Should I cancel this and go for Fixed Price servicing plan instead.

Any inputs will be appreciated.

Many Thanks

Hi FN4,
Wether a plan is interesting or not depends completely on your mileage and the price you pay for service without a plan, doesn't it?
You mention spark plugs, fuel filter and anti freeze: well, you shouldn't care about them if you drive less than 120k km/5years. Fuel filter and spark plugs are only at 120k km(independant of age) and anti freeze is only after 10 (TEN) years or 200k km (it's long life coolant).
For your info:
- oil changes plus filter are yearly or after 20k km (what comes first)
- valve clearance needs to be checked around 110k km
I don't know details of such plans. It's not so common in Belgium to buy this.

Hello i-DSi

My mileage will be less than 100,000 kms for 5 years. And I will stick to the current plan.

Thanks
