I have just looked at the front of the FN2 and it appears the gap between the top of the headlight and the bonnet is bigger on the drivers side than on the passengers by max 8mm.

Could the bumper have worked loose? I have scraped a few times due to Eibachs being lower on the front.

How easy is it to re-fit? :(

Hey mate,

I don't know how difficult it is to fit as I've never taken it off, but I've had a couple of accidents and the bodyshop I've used have had difficulty ensuring all of the gaps are uniform size across the front (lights, grill, bumper).. and that's when using a new reinforcing bumper bar, which holds the bumper's shape..

Somebody could have knocked your front end reverse parking (happened to me with a tow bar).. if the bumper reinforcement bar is slightly bent (easy to do) then that could be the cause..

There are guides on here for bumper removal, looks fairly easy, but me personally I'd use a recommended bodyshop.

OK thanks I've got a service coming up so I may ask my dealer to 'adjust' it for me if they can.
