[MARK182]

i have had my car 3 weeks now and love it, but the last week or so i have heard a buzzing noise from the engine when it is turned off.
it seems to be coming from the box that is above the air filter, i can't hear it from inside the car.
anybody else had this problem?, is it a problem?

Hello Mark182,

I've heard this 'buz' too and I asked my honda's dealer.
He explained that there is no problem, it's just the noise of a solenoid valve.

I don't think it's really a solenoid valve, the noise look more like an electrical motor.
It can be an exhaust device for the turbo or the climate control

So, don't worry, your car act in a normal way

I am also hearing this buzzing noise under the hood when the engine is in off position. even when the engine has cooled down
