Ive seen in the Type R they have gauges on the little screen in the dash. Is it possible to enable these?

not sure, ive not owned a non type r so I don't know what displays you have, I doubt it tho, try the button on the left of your steering wheel, it should cycle through all the displays you have available, I can cycle through them without being in r mode

Hey buddy.

Sounds like you've seen the Torque app installed on the Honda Connect headunit and an OBD2 reader plugged in and paired to the radio.
This can then be customised with various dials, displays etc showing data pulled out of the canbus system in the car.
So yes you can have this if you can install the app and have the Connect headunit.

This goes through the steps to install the app to your Connect, assuming you are on firmware version RC6 of below. If on the latest RC8 you'll need to play around using iRoot to install the permissions app first.
