Damaged my alloy this morning as my car decided to slide into a kerb on ice this morning. Anyway I have attached a picture and would like to know if you think it can be refurbished or not

Yes mate that can be refurbished. Iv seen alot worse damaged.
A proper refurb should be able to do it. I'd say about £70 mate. Give them a call just don't use mobile refurb they don't really have the equipment to do it.
Hope this helps.

I just need to find a decent place to fix it. Hopefully they will be able to get a good colour match. Iv ordered a new wheel as I don't have a spare wheel so I will get it refurbed after Xmas and see if I can maybe sell it on to get a bit money back

Cheers mate.

I was worried as its the lip and they might not get a good colour match

There's a place up next to me in easy Kilbride mate, it's in the Kelvin Insustrial Estate, can't mind the name of it but I used them before and they were good!
Well I will be getting it sorted in march/April so will probably ask you again nearer the time mate

Are those alloy protectors around the sides?

If so, I take it they didn't help.

I had been thinking of getting some but both the price and now your photo are potentially putting me off.
Thats just the alloy mate. It has a red lip that sticks out a bit

Powdertec in glasgow are good and you get a nice finish off them.
Cheers for that mate. Will be looking into it more once I put the new one on after the winter so I can send the damaged one to get fixed

The benefit of hindsight eh smartypants ! The words 'salt', 'wounds' and 'rubbing' spring to mind even if you are right Derek.
What can I say ? - there is NO downside, to being a "right smug git" !!! :p ...

True but I don't usually use my car in bad weather. I was unfortunate that this particular road was icy.

I will be getting winter wheels next year
