hi, got a quick question, im thinking of buying an exhibition trailer for using at boot sales on a weekend, if i fit a tow bar could my type r physically tow this trailer

i still dont think itwould be a good idea towing something that heavy with a type r
check your owners manual it should give you a limit

not for towing mate imo.....diesel for towing.

correct the FN2 can tow zero weight it does state t.his in the manual

1} Yes, it physically could, at least in theory
2} But, 2000kg is over the limit for any Civic, downright dangerous
3} The CTR isn't type-approved to tow anything whatsoever
4} So, inadvisable, illegal, and could nullify your insurance

In case of doubt, that was also a NO ! ...

...with a 2000kg trailer what will happen if you have to stop on an uphill? The trailer will probably end up towing you!

dont do it dude its dangerous and you will end up needed a new clutch
a type r is far to sexy to have any sort or trailor hanging out the back of it anyway
