Had something odd happen at a junction, I'd just filled up and sat at a roundabout waiting for a gap to appear and as I got ready to pull off my car literally launched itself, took me by surprise.
It wasn't a foot down clutch up launch because the engine didn't scream and the wheels didn't spin, my pedal control was a normal pulling off manoeuvre but the way the car launched was something I've never experienced before. Is there a launch mode for the type R (like the R32) or could this have been the start of a problem.

Cheers I've just typed it in YouTube but the cars on there are revving like mad before they pull off which I wasn't doing, so I'm a bit baffled now

Loss of hydrolic pressure on the clutch.?
What would cause this because my squeak has just come back and every now and then my gear stick gets jammed in reverse so I have to give it hard tap with my palm to free it, could all be related then

The way it shot off was like it had rocket fuel in so cant see it being bad fuel, It drives and accelerates normal

It had a new clutch in April so that will be warranted if that's the problem, also new master cylinder in january but the squeak has just come back, its too close to Christmas for problems to be happening, I'll monitor it over the next few wks if it happens again I'll have no choice but to book it in

Just sat in my car and pressed the clutch and noticed it feels firm so far then it suddenly goes soft and into the floor does it sound like one of the cylinders have gone.

1. check thre fluid level...see if you have a leak.
2. Could be a cylinder, air lock or clutch delay issue.

Topped my fluid up about 3wks ago it hasn't dropped, i also got my mate to watch the level as i pumped the clutch to see if it moved (a check for faulty cylinders) stayed the same.
I read online to pump the clutch 50 times to get air out the system and it should firm up will give this a go tomorrow see if it firms up and then check the levels again
