I'll have to give non Honda fluid a try next time round, sometimes mine's a little hesitant when cold. I just attribute it to age, have changed both clutch and gearbox fluid/oil.

A clutch isn't a huge job, worth doing if the rest of the car is fine.

You'll spend more even if you were given another car for free and needed a set of tyres plus a service....

Maybe try and resist the new car itch!!

Almost every car I've had including the Civic has made me feel that occasionally.

I'd be bananas to sell mine currently as everything on it is working well...

So you're going to spend out on a new clutch and there's a possibility it won't cure it. Mine still does it even after a new clutch and flywheel. Like I said, once the oil is up to operating temperature, it's all fine. If yours is the same, leave it. Especially for the sake of chucking money around that you don't need to.
Yes I'd be tempted by just changing the gearbox oil and living with the car until the clutch starts slipping or becomes difficult to drive.

Or get a second opinion.
