Hi guys,

I currently have two service stamps missing from my service log book in my car (Jan 2014 and Jan 2015), 2014 being serviced by Honda and 2015 serviced by TDI. I have the invoices from these services but forgot to ask them to stamp my book each time!

Would this ultimately have an affect on the value of my car?

no as a stamp in the book is worthless unless you have the invoice to go with it.
I would just ask the garages you used to stamp it for you. Just show them the invoices. Problem solved.

All Honda services performed by a dealer should be logged on their system, as should any other work done under warranty.

Invoices matter, stamps not so much as on many cars they are faked.

I keep the invoice for every part i have bought for the car and mark the book up myself as i do all my own servicing.

When I part exchanged my Aygo at a Honda main dealer they just wanted the stamped service book. They told me to bin all the receipts.

Which Honda dealer so I can trade in my wife's 6 careful owners fully stamped up with 14 different stamps. 10 year old car. No paper work.

trust me stamp means everything,i get mine stamped but most of the service is done by myself.....
