Hi all,

I am totally fed up with the miss matching red matts in my FN2. I have decided to dye them black.

Does anyone have any experience of this or any products to recommend?

I can't answer your question, but I've got some black mats from my Type S sat in the cupboard under my stairs

Get some type s mats there nice and three years on mine look like new and not faded

Cheers guys. Done some digging and a few recommend Autoglym Dye. Goes on almost anything by the look of it. I'll give that a go for £6. If its a massive fail then I'll go with one of your ideas.

Yeah I'll be honest, it's not worth the effort of posting the CTS mats when they're £15 on ebay.

I'll just keep mine and stick em in my FN2 when I trade it in, so I've got a few quid to make on ebay from my red ones

I had a look at these but they don't have the TYPE R metal badge in the middle. I'll give the Autoglym a go and if they come up ok I'll post some pics.

Under very close inspection there is a hint of red showing but I'm not that fussy when I'm putting my dirty winter shoes all over them. ?
