Is this a common occurrence with the carpets on the fn2?

I'm sure I've seen this before on another car, but is there any way to cure it, can anyone shed any light on why it happens?

It's an annoyance more than anything as it looks scruffy, not wanting to have to start ripping the carpet out and replacing it or wot daft, half wondering though if it's something to do with some insulation below the carpet that's been pulled out by a previous owner!??

my carpet is perfect fit all round, maybe someone stripped it out before you had the car and half assed putting in back in.

Nah had the trim off and tried shoving it back etc, it just comes back, it's somehow like the carpet is being pulled down away from the trim?

I remember mine being a small fit, it was tucked under the trim but you could feel that it wasn't sitting flat on the floor,
Carpet tape might help

I agree, it looks like it should push under OK but has folded back and wants to stay there.

I'd have the trim off and glue it down.
