Not that I have done it, but as I understand it if you buy a decent decat down pipe you can gain upto 5bhp when combined with the Hondata, and because it's relitively cheap, I say go for it :D

just make sure you get before and after dyno runs and post them up ;)

If you want to unleash a few more hp, but still want to appear street legal, I'd suggest a metalic high flow cat. It will net you a couple less hp than a test pipe, but at least if anybody checks, you technically still have a cat.

Vibrant Performance ::.

I've got the Vibrant raceheader with one of their metalic core cats attached, and I did get check engine lights every 19 miles. I solved the problem by adding an angled defouler to the secondary O2 sensor, and have been CEL free for over 10,000 miles. Let me also add that people are hit of miss with the CELs from these products. Some people get them immediately, and some people never get them at all.

I have tryed with a decat on mine. I also have a blueflame cat-back system. But must say the sound was way to loud for me, the car started to rattle everytime i put my foot on the gas and the dashboard came up with a error also... So wont be doing that again. Maybe a legal metal cat is better? But i would highly recommend not to mess around with the cat, ive had some small problems with rattles since. Very annoying!

Don't bother.
Initially it felt better as jump in midrange torque but as rpm increased it actually became restrictive due to design and lost quite a lot of bhp top end. Mine was the ABP one.

Got a dyno print somewhere am trying to find will post up later.

As Mattsbobo said a sportcat works and one was tested and made good gains. Think it was the Burk??SP? one.
