Morning,

After some discussion with forum members and Pottsy we have decided to offer a forum wide discount to show our appreciation for the support of the forum which we have had over the past few years.

The details of the offer are as follows:

All 2.2 iCTDi 138bhp engines whether it is FRv/CRv/Civic/Accord we will offer at £200 all inclusive.

The price is only available at our location in Roche, Cornwall and will include before and after dyno runs.

The offer does not require a certain number of customers on one day so individual bookings that suit the individuals commitments are available. There is no expiry date but we do reserve the right to remove the offer at any point in time by notifying the forum administrators.

Exclusions: The offer does not include any other model other than the stated iCTDi thus iDTEC engines are exempt. This offer does not include mobile service and normal prices will apply for a mobile technician. The offer is not available at any of our dealer network locations.

Instructions on how to take advantage of this offer:

To receive a quote please visit www.celtictuning.co.uk or call 01726 892873.

Well done Tony.
Thats an excellent offer.
All of us really appreciate this I'm sure.
Even if I would have to travel a long way.

Just out of interest...
Whats the score with mapping cars with intercooler, induction, exhaust, clutch mods.
Is the service just plugging in and verifying your standard map or tuned to suit ?

Good question my man. And if the car has already been mapped elsewhere and has had other mods added - do you need a base map to get started?

Now you mention that...
Say, if i were to add new clutch+flywheel, exhaust system, larger intercooler, rocket propelor and some jet wings lol would i need a new remap over the current remap?
or does the celtic remap have that self learning script?

Has anyone upgraded from the standard Celtic remap 194 BHP to the 204 BHP after having the clutch upgraded? and if so is it worth £125 extra and do you notice the difference.
Thanks in advance.

The 194 i had was just a standard one and cost me £330 the upgrade to the 204 is another £125 but i'm sure they would have put the 204 straight on if i had the uprated clutch at the time for the £330. I had this all done by a mobile Celtic tuner and no dyno runs were done.

The cost is really for him to come out again as Kent is quite a long way from Cornwall and that is why i asked is it worth another £125 for anther 10hp.

The result of the standard 194hp remap is very good i have had no problems, nice and smooth and very fast.
