I'm in need of a new clutch like many others on here, today I experienced my first slipping of the clutch so will have to get a new one.

Has anyone had the CG clutch fitted lately and what's the cost likely to be?
Has anyone bought the clutch off CG and had it fitted localy and would that be a visible option thus not driving down to Leeds and pottering around all day while it gets fitted.

I think I'll send CG a email tomorrow and see if they can get me in over Xmas some time to have it done.
Can anyone give me the cost I'm looking at all in fitted?

One post says £900. Just would like to clarify The price.

Phone them up and ask them. Mine was £900 all in, fully fitted including DM Flywheel and gearbox oil change.
Took about 7 hours.

This clutch is capable of taking the premier tuning stage 2 EGR OFF map isn't it? The torque looks like it may be close to the limit of the clutch rating.

I'm qurious about one thing : can you ever start with 6 paddle, in 1st gear only when releasing clutch (so without gas) - like we can do it by OEM clutch. Or with really small rpms - I dont want my every 1st gear and reverse goes on 1500-1800 rpms ??

Than it is really pretty OK for handling.
If I can imagine my driving with that "sometimes" judder, and how it looks like, I will already have this clutch in my hands... (suppose that when judder happening most of time - it will be pretty stress for gearbox and DMF and all in there...).

its taking my map without issue and also propelling trevors big ass crv, both of which are in excess of 350ft/lb
It holds fine on mine and that's with more weight, AWD, and more torque then you will ever see in a Civic.

The only solution to high outputs IMHO.
