Hi everyone, we have finally had a sit down here at CG towers and hammered out a Honda Pricing structure. :D

I hope the below makes sense to everyone.

Honda Civic / Accord 2.2 CDTi & CTDi Applications and Price List

All Honda fitting prices are £250 until Jan 1st 2013

We strongly advise that all remapped cars have a performance clutch installed. Having a car remapped will not cause the clutch to instantly slip but constantly running increased torque figures through the transmission will act as a catalyst to the deliration of the clutch.
All prices inclusive of VAT and subject to change at the discretion of CG Motorsport. All delivery £15 for non fitted items.
Please Quote 'Civinfo' when booking to get the Forum Price.

PLEASE NOTE ALL PRICES ARE THE SAME FOR THE SMF AS THE DMF

Yes we will honour that price til Jan 1st. Also if your worrying about payday a £100 deposit will sure up the deal if you have to pay the full whack and get it fitter later in 2013.

How about a video of a CTDi setting off with the new 8 paddle vs an original Honda clutch? The judder is the main thing putting me off a remap and a paddle clutch. After hearing about the judder form the 6 paddle it would be good to see the a comparison.

What torque is the 8-paddle rated to (and the 6 for that matter as can't remember off the top of my head)?

Need to see if I can get the funds together then I'll be having one of these, but might have to take you up on that deposit offer!

This is the first thing I want to get done when we get a 8 paddle in. So there may even be a extra deal for that first customer.

Can anyone donate a 6 paddle video to compare when we get that

No problem we know the 6 paddle can take a full stage 3 Celtic tuning. Which is 230BHP and 340 Lbs/ft of torque. We have every confidence the Dual Friction should be good upto 205BHP and 310lbs/ft of torque - roughly a Stage 2.

The 6 paddle was gripping OK at 360 lb ft .. no idea how long that would last as I never had the map on long
This is on a HUB dyno ;)
Double peak is overboosting badly with too many mods

And the 8 paddle is expected to be able to take?

Lets not forget the Honda clutch is supposedly able to take more than it does...

From reading through other posts I understand that the clutches are supposed to be able to take:

6 paddle - above 340 lbs/ft
8 paddle - 410 lbs/ft
Dual friction - 310 lbs/ft

First a quick confirmation that the above is correct, and secondly what the difference in drivability is like between the paddles and DF clutch?

I think the 8 would hold less not more?

I thought the same but that's the number I was given by CG... hence my ask for confirmation!
The 6 paddle figure is quoted as "at least" though so it could possibly be much more.
