Good evening!

I've recently acquired a 2006 Honda Civic FK3, 2.2 Diesel.

Yesterday the drivers side headlight bulb died. So I've been searching the internet for what bulbs it requires. H7 was the connector type I managed to narrow it down to, so I brought some H7 LED bulbs off of Amazon.

Coming to fit them today I realise that the car is fitted with the factory HID's.

Is there anyway of removing the HIDs in favour of just putting in the standard H7 bulbs in?

Thanks in advance.
Adam.

And the answer to your question is No, well not at least without swapping the headlights out and rewiring them. Just return the bulbs to amazon and buy Two D2R HID bulbs in 5000k. If ones gone the other wont be far away and the colour will be all wrong too.

Thank you both for your speedy replies. ?

Yeah I think I'll return the bulbs as you suggested and go for some HIDs.
What would you suggest? I would like something very bright and white.

Also to remove the standard bulbs there are 2 torx screws. Would aftermarket ones require the screws too?
Sorry, I'm new to HID.

Thanks,
Adam.
