Why?

I don't think anyone's going to willing post their VIN on a public forum...

I need to buy the part in which I can install the tweeter and the local dealer requested a VIN number that has that part, to be able to check from the database. I know it is lame, but i do not have another option.

A PM will be fine too :)

Really don't see why they'd need a VIN to look up a part or why they'd think you'd even know one for that matter.

Have you tried other dealers? Sounds like they're just being awkward.

unfortunately there is only one honda dealer here in Malta .... which are quite good but in this case they require this strange information.

they can't be that good if they need a VIN number to source an interior part ;)

Tell the dealer to take a few steps and get a VIN number from one of their own stock !

Hi, I've just PM'd you my VIN number. Please also find attached bank details just in-case. Oh, and my address too, should you need to visit me. But don't come between 9am and 5pm Monday - Friday - as there'll never be anyone home.
