All that kit has from the picture is the facia, an aerial adaptor and the ISO connector loom. The adaptor you need to retain dash display isn't even part of the kit they're selling, so of course it won't allow you to retain your heater display. It's about £65 alone from Impulse, better to get the whole kit from them as you say.
