Every year this fuse gets blown.
Could someone remind me which number the fuse is and the AMP?

Thanks

More importantly, what are you putting in your ciggy socket?
In car charger to juice up my phone.

I tend to unplug it when engine switched off to avoid draining the car battery overnight. Is this a myth?

I think it's 29... mine blew when some foil chewing gum wrapper got stuck in there.

Shouldn't blow under normal use... try using a USB socket adapter, and regular cable instead.

That's what I have been doing, in order to swap from Samsung/iPhone connection.

Fuses are normally labelled on the cover, have you bothered to check?
There are no label reference for under steering wheel fuse box. Also checked fuse 29 and looks fine.

Is that correct fuse I'm looking at?

Haynes manual states it's fuse 29 for the cigarette lighter and it's a 20A (yellow) fuse. If that fuse has continuity then the problem lies elsewhere. Have you removed the lighter socket and checked if 12v is present at the cabling. May be a faulty socket.

It was working before and suddenly stopped.

Is it worth still checking the unit?
