acrylic laser cut backlit honda logo trimming detail

Amp cover

And then you can see the JL logo cut out of the acrylic panel

And then some pics of it all installed. The panel that follows the shape of the boot is removeable so you can still access the panels on each side of the boot that have the tool kit and tyre weld etc.

and with the amp protection panel fitted - in the amp "tray" there are two fans to help with cooling.

Many thanks to ian_cupra at talk audio without who's skills and laser cutting this would not have been possible. Blue acrylic halo rings laser cut around sub holes to give blue lit halo light to match honda logo. JL 1000/1v2 replaced genesis amp for sub duties. Audison LRX 4.1k for component duties. Build to follow.

thanks - Ian was the mainstay of the build. The laser cutting facility is fantastic for really detailed pieces like the Honda badge, JL logo's in the acrylic amp cover and the detailed rings that fitted into the subs to support the beauty board and blue halo rings. He really is great for that stuff. I wanted to still use the net tie down loops and the ones on the back of the seats actually lock the front end down when the seats are locked back. It's the detail bits that you really have to think about. With the beauty board down and the amp cover on, it creates an in and out tunnel for the cooling fans which pull cooler air from under the rear seat on one side of the car and push the warm air out of the other side ensuring the amp doesn't overheat.

Pity theres not a vote / civinfo prize for workmanship.
Some people need some recognition for the quality they do.

That is some superb craftsman ship, really like the fact it doesn't take over your boot, yet you have a full and complete install. Very nice, I'm very impressed.:popcorn2:
