What is difference between the two?

And i take it that the red H badge can be removed from the special edition and replaced with the normal Si type one.

apart from the price I think the type R is designed to let air through and the sports special edition is not

I was looking at the coxmotorparts site when i saw that their are 2 kinds.
This is the special edition

This is the normal Type R one

Looks like the special edition is a wirebased and the normal one is a plastic based in the grill part but it could be the angle of the image.

my sports grille was solid in the back i cut it out to look like the above to keep the radiator cool after the fmic install

Stupid design right their, obstruct air flow the radiator.

its not neede as the car was designed to run with the "cylon" front grille but if you put massive intercooler in front of the rads original airway you need to compensate!

Airflow through the top grille is not needed except for the type R or those that block the lower radiator

The second pic is the sport grill the first is the sport limited edition the type R is different again.
