Hi all,

I have a nighthaxk black type r which i want to give a good going over on the weekend.

I have most AG products SRP, EGP, HD WAX, UDS which of these is best suited to get the results.

Also i have quite a lot of swirl marks, is there anything i can do/buy myself to reduce or remove these? UDS helps hide them a little, is there somethins specific?

Also i have heard a lot about dodo PH is it any better than HD wax, do i use it on its own?

Thanks

if your doing everything by hand then i would buy some mf pads and megs ultimate compund that will get rid of some of the swirls, then either use your egp or i use poorboys black hole glaze which is amazing on dark cars. Your hd wax is good stuff and would do the job well but it doesnt last as long as others so if you wanted to treat your self then bilt hamber finnis wax is good stuff.

Ok...Just spotted this.
As leebert says...thats a good combination of products to mask the swirls
BUT
Youre not actually removing them. just filling them.
I would do the following
Clay the car if you think it feels a little rough
Use some Meguiars Ultimate Polish or Farecla G3 Paint renovator (Both available at Halfords)
Use a polishing pad and do a panel at a time until youve achieved a good finish
The polish will start to break down as you rub..This is what you want.....
Pressure wash the car..Dry it
Use the AGSRP..This will mask any swirls youve missed and aid the shine
Then Poorboys Black Hole
Leave an hour and apply a sealer or wax (or both an hour apart)....AGHDW is perfect with Black Hole
Hope this helps

Indeed AGHDW is more durable applied in a single layer compared to Purple Haze but it does not give the same colour depth.
Blackhole is a cleaner glaze meaning that it will clean some of SRP's fillers if used on top of it. My recomendation is a double layer of purple haze (with the appropriate curing times) for looks or AGHDW for durability, both after SRP. You can replace Blackhole with SRP if you so wish.
