My CTR has developed a faulty outside air temperature sensor as described in the wiki here. It is consistently reading 55C, which is optimistic in this weather!

What I have now noticed is that the climate control is not able to maintain temperature i.e. if I don't set the temperature setting to "Hi" then I get cold air in to the cabin, regardless of mode, fan speed or temperature setting. Is this fault related to the erroneuous reading I am getting from the outside temp. sensor? Or is it likely to be a separate and coincidental problem I need to mention when I take the car in next week to have the sensor replaced.
