I'm in the process of installing cruise in my car and when comparing the clocksprings, the new one which has the necessary pins for cruise control only has 2 wires on the airbag plugs whereas the existing one on the car has 4. Two of each colour. Each set of two connects to one of two circle connections on the back of the airbag. Any ideas if this is going to cause me any problems?

Normally there will be.

+ channel, - channel, + volume, - volume, mode, set/decel, resume/accl, cruise, menu, info, answer, hang up.

Depending on the model this is what buttons would be on the steering wheel.

It was the airbag connections themselves. I have a 2010 face-lift and it looks like they have a 2 stage airbag rather than a single stage so it requires two sets of srs wires. The new clockspring I got was for the older model which only had 1 stage so I currently have an srs light whilst I wait on the new clockspring arriving.
