Hi folks, newbie here. I have bought a high mileage Honda Civic, just for commuting. It is good at what it does and on paper at least, it seems to beat all it's rivals, ie Golf, Focus etc. Loads of kit, nippy, handles well and is very economical. Not a fan of the looks (my 9year old son hates it!) as it's the 5 door 1.6se 7th gen one. The mileage is super high at 140000, I can't believe how smooth the engine is. I find the ride a bit harsh and am annoyed at the clonky suspension. Anyone know what that is? I have been told it is the drop links. What are these and are they easy to fix? I have you guys are really helpful and friendly!

If it is the drop links they are fairly easy to replace
