I'm getting a bit of a clunky knock or rattle kind of noise from the driver's side rear that seems to happen at low speeds, often when setting off in the morning and dropping off the kerb, on rolling over pot holes and particularly low speed bump on and off speed bumps.

Sort of like the stuff in this big thread http://www.civinfo.com/forum/bugs-faults-irritations/698-rear-suspension-known-problems.html

Got it booked in but not until the new year. Just wondering if it's much to be concerned about to do a few xmas long drives (visiting rellies etc). I don't notice it when cruising on motorways and the like. Doesn't sound like something's about to fall off. Honda garage couldn't obviously assure me it would be okay until they can get it in to have a look.

Shouldnt be anything that require your attention asap.
Only components on the rear are springs , shock absorbers rear axel bushes and rear bearing.

Just double check that the tool kit or puncture kit that came with car hasnt come loose.
