Hi all!

Had my civic 2.2 2006 mk8 around 8/9 years now. Recently driving like a dream, passed the MOT last year.

It has 185,000 miles on the clock and now the clutch is slipping.

I am going to go ahead and change the clutch and flywheel, but interested to know whether or not people on here would go ahead and get second hand parts?? Bare in mind, this would save around £400-500.

If you are going to all the hassle of swapping the clutch fit new parts imho

If you want to save money dont swap the DMF, if its not rattling, but as above even not doing that could be false economy.

Think 5% comes to mind but different things carried different discounts
Not life changing savings but they are normally fairly competitive pricing for some things to start with
