Took my 2007 FN2, which has done 70k without any problem to chiswick honda for a service today. Been called up by the dealer saying that my clutching is wearing out. When I asked how could they tell, the chap replied that the bite point is low - since I bought the car from new the bite point has always been quite low.

What are the symptoms of clutch wear? Is there truth to what the dealer is saying?

if it doesn't slip and it doesn't judder i would say it's fine regardless of the bite point especially if it's always been a little on the low side

just tell em you like it that way the clutch is fine

It drives as sweet as the day I bought it, told them I was happy with it, and thankfully no other "problems" came up, thanks for your help. So glad i have this epic forum to turn to! Much appreciated.
