Though I haven't got the Streetmaster pads, Cazza did sort me out with lines, EBC discs and Yellowstuff pads and fluid - was sent Friday, I picked up from depot and fitted Saturday!

Awesome service from Sumo towers! Woop!

Thanks buddy

I'm currently deciding between the DS2500s and the two variants on the Cosworth pad.

There will be a couple of track days next year, but most of the driving will just be standard road driving.

Are the TrackMaster pads a compromise on the road? I would like to know that if I need to stop sharply after cruising on the motorway for 2 hours without hitting the brake that I'm going to stop!

Also, are they nosier than the DS2500s? Are they nosier than OEM?!

Thanks!

Rich

The Trackmasters are pretty good on the road just warm them up a lil, they definitely stop me after driving off the dual carriageway doing 70, I changed from DS2500 to Trackmasters due to brake fade after coming off, gave me a scare twice but now the Trackmasters definitely does the job for me, for an extra £10-£15 its worth it.

They are barely noisy at all, only squeal a bit after hard use but goes away quickly.
I don't remember how the OEMs were haha changed them after around 3000miles.

Hope that helps you make a choice mate ;)

Hi, Just a quick note I got the street master pads about a month ago along with the do-luck lines and the improvement was massive. The initial bite is much improved as has the feeling given by the new set up, my standard lines were in very good condition as wasn't sure how much of a difference the pads and lines would make but I'm glad I went for this rather than a big brake set up I was contemplating. There was a bit of dust the first 100 miles or so but now there are bedded in they are comparable to the genuines pads for dust. Chris

Edit I use Kleers wheel protector which I got from a show at Cadwell and the dust just wiped off with some cold water and a cloth - I have to say I wasn't sure about it but it really works better than rim wax and one application has lasted 9 washes so far (I do clean my car more than I drive it)
