Hi there,

I've been lurking on here for a while but I've got an issue with my 2006 1.8 SE whereby under medium/light braking at relatively slow speeds (more pronounced at car park speeds 10 mph etc) there is a rhythmic creaking coming from the front of the car. Now in recent months the front brakes have been replaced, shocks, drop links, bearings, calipers have been serviced and aren't sticking. I'm at a bit of a loss as to what it is to be honest, as the noise is only apparent under braking. It goes away if the brakes are pressed hard but can return on medium pressure. Does anyone have any experience of a similar issue? Between that and the squeaky clutch (standard) it's really starting to grate on me.

I'd appreciate any advice people have.
