Hi everybody,its my first time of owning a Honda,Just bought a Type S on a 53 plate.Just reading through some of the posts and noticed one for cruise control on a later Civic.Anybody know if you can retro fit Cruise to a 53 plate Type S?If so How? and roughly what cost? obviously secon hand parts will be required,is it as simple as replace steering wheel and boss? Any help would be useful,cheers John

Hi,

I think this would be a very difficult thing to implement in this age of civic, due to it having a cable-operated throttle rather than the current civics' drive-by-wire throttle.

If you were to fit CC to your civic, you would require some sort of retrofit system to control the throttle position, as well as the associated wiring and electronic controls...

Not the best news I know :facepalm:
