Just been quoted £140 to get a CTR spoiler sprayed. That's cash in hand so no VAT.

Sounds like a right rip off to me but thought I'd ask you guys first before I just turn them down.

How much have other peeps payed for a spoiler respray?

There's a company that trades on eBay, if you purchase their Type R "style" spoiler (basically a replica) they'll spray it your colour for £70 before sending it to you.

Initial cost of the spoiler is £76 + £16 delivery.

in total that's almost the same as what you've just been quoted for a spray job alone.

what colour is the spoiler you have? or is it just in primer?

True, but I'd rather have the real deal than a look-a-like.

Think it's alabaster silver.

If worst comes to worst I'll DIY it. Can't be that hard :worms:

Problem is with Delta on eBay - as I said to you yesterday - you can't gaurentee the colour is going to be exact as many have had issues on here.

So Is this a Delta Styling Spoiler or a genuine Honda spoiler?

I thought he was getting a (currently silver) OEM Type R spoiler sprayed.

spoilers should be around £100-£125 max.

cheapest ive ever paid is £80 for a fiesta ST spoiler 5 years ago. The same bloke charged £125 recently to paint one for my dad and £110 to paint another Fiesta ST spoiler for my sister.

mine with fitting was thrown in with a bonnet and front wing respray but on its own would have been £125 fitted.

Yeah, I thought I was being ripped off. Thanks guys.

Ringing Honda sounds like the best course of action :)

Don't really want to sell, but if you can get your hands on another OEM CTR spoiler, I'd be willing to trade.

+1 Had my Mugen Spoiler painted and fitted by Honda £240 all in, and the job was faultless.
