My advise is to wait a bit for the new generation civic. It will have new engines and they may be better with fuel consumption to power ration than the crz.
Or wait for the crz with 1.6 turbo engine :)

They are very nice little cars mate, the only major downer about it is the practicality of it, the storage is aweful after being used to the tardis civics

On the upside they are well nippy! very low cost to run and maintain, 10 year battery lifespan, look awesome!

If you can get over the down sides then its definitely a great car!

I was in my local Honda dealer today and the salesman said Honda will not be doing a 1.6 Turbo CRZ and the Type R name is dead. He claimed all Honda want to do now is save the planet.

I came from a 1.4 so this was a slight increase in power for me, but ctr to crz..I dunno you might start craving the power

My girlfriend has a cr-z usually allows me to drive it sometimes got to say that the car performs well can keep up with me at motor way speeds when we go for a wee drive in both cars.

Power is great with the assist from the electric motor instant power, yeah does lack the red line revs of the ctr but will get off the line quicker than my ctr,i was goina get s cr-z but thought we'd buy a his and her car lol.

I have a CRZ demo car from last night after i left my CTR in for some warranty work. CRZ is great fun, very nippy in sport mode, eco mode great for heavy traffic driving, i was really surprised at how much fun i had with it.. I would consider the CRZ if there was more room in the back, just about got two kids in it, not ideal as one's head was stuck up against the roof, but I definitely enjoyed it, if I was going to change to something more economical to run and it was only me and the other half I would definitely go for the CRZ… My advice would be to go and take one on a 24hour test drive to see what you think..
