Hi guys,

Hi have a 2.2 diesel, its booked in tomorrow to have the EGR deleted (custom one) not a generic one, they have told me they will remap it aswel taking it to 185BHP but they say if the clutch is bad it will slip, I think the clutch is fine but not 100% sure what's people's thoughts on getting the 2.2 ones remapped?

Had my 2010 2.2 remapped 4 weeks ago and it has the stronger 325 Luk clutch. Its lasted 2 weeks before slipping ha

Mines being done as we speak but he's only tuning it a bit so we will see what happens lol

If it produces numbers anything like this

300Ft/Lb of torque is a pretty strong hit for any standard Civic clutch to handle

especially a worn one haha

Remap will find a weak clutch, my old SAAB Aero went from 205bhp to 250bhp and 270 ft pd, funnily enough the clutch decided it didn't want to hold it!
