Was teasing myself looking at some type:typer: porn yesterday... happened upon this absolute treasure?

Vehicle View - Honda Civic Type R 2.0 i-VTEC Championship Wt Ed 3-Door - Wolverhampton

Is this anyones on here? Or is anyone on here eyeing it up like I am? :p

Type:typer:s are just eye candy for me... do far too many miles to have one :(

Did also see a black 07 type:typer: on there with fairly lowish mileage for a good price too... much lower than the CW.

I do about 18k miles a year in my R. Costs a fortune in fuel compared to my 2.2 but i don't regret it.

I say many miles... it's quite difficult to gauge... last year it covered about 15k... prior to me getting it in Sept last year, I used to average about 20k (in a 1.4 petrol Astra - 'hiss' 'boo') and I know the 2.2 will last doing that kind of mileage... the servicing on a Type R will most likely make me bankrupt.

I'm not convinced that my 2.2 will px for a reasonable amount to be able to get it... or even the slightly cheaper black Type R... not without me being quite a bit out of pocket... I'll have to start selling myself... £1 a go anyone?

Might hold out for the new Type R when it's released ;) hopefully then I'll be getting paid more and live closer to work which makes the mileage come right down.

I do just over 12k and I do on average 26mpg. I dont regret it at all.
I'm averaging at ~45mpg in the 2.2... but i do a bit of heavy foot motorway driving... I'm sure the shorter journeys would being mine down similar to yours.

Good to see the CWs still holding their value.
I bought mine back in June, and I keep telling myself I'm never going back to a 'slow' car, brings a smile to my face everytime i drive it :D
And so you should mate... CWs I think are the white gold when it comes to Civics :D
