Both my headlight units are "hazy/foggy" went to get them restored but they could not do anything as the damage is on the inside of the lens. They are standard halogen headlight assemblies. Seen a few official Honda Xenon headlight assemblies on ebay for a reasonable price. Would I be able to purchase these and just replace my Halogen headlight assemblies with these straight up? Or is additional configuration required?
Is it possible to remove the lens to polish the inside to try and rectify the damage?
I also suffer from this problem with my fn2, the lights have been like that since I purchased the car, it would be great to find out if any one has managed to fix this problem ?
You could change them, but be aware your car would fail an MOT because it won't be fitted with washer jets and self levelling system.
As for restoring them, you can take the lights apart at home. Pretty sure there's a guide on here somewhere. I'll try find it for you.
thanks, I have tried to find a guide but struggling so far! Would be nice to be able to restore them, its just getting the lens off which I am unsure of.
I have the same thing too. May try making my own magnetic cleaning tool like this:
