couldnt say it better. The damn thing is built by computers, we're not in the 70's here! new bloke gets to press a button and swing the odd chassis across on a sling, jeez do you actually think that a car is still hand built these days?
Fine, you go buy a skoda, we'll all have some fun with a real car.

... leave that for the little boys on here lolWhen I was last in Slovakia, they had a news programme/feature on the Bratislava Skoda factory, one of the newest which produces the Octavia and soon to be launched Citigo ...... Very impressive stuff! The factory has won European awards for quality and is one of the most high tech in central europe.
And lets not forget how bad the 8th gen was at launch because of the attitude/poor workman ship of the Swindon workforce... only resolved when Honda Japan gave the management a massive kick up the bum!

I am a proud owner of a skoda vRS after 3 years of ownership of my beloved type R i had to get something a little bigger, i loved the honda but it had its little niggles over the 3 years that i owned her, the paint work was shocking and the squeaks and rattles where a plenty but i would still go back to honda one day if they would bring out a five door R, The skoda on the other hand is in a different league build wise compared to the 8th gen civic, the materials are better, its better screwed together and you get a lot of bang for your bucks.
It is ashame that a thread can be ruined by such small mindedness isnt it?This wasn't how I expected the thread to turn out.
