Hi All,

Well what a day, 5am set off this morning and a 620 mile round trip and just in the door and already on the mac to sing ABP praises.

After trolling the forums looking for suspension setup's i took the plunge and booked in for -30mm eibachs, Full FRS front and rear, eibach camber bolts and eibach 15mm spacers front and rear.

Arrived at 10am and greeted with a coffee and an explaination of what was getting done and a timescale for the work.

After 5 views of the top gear dvd, 4 hours worktime, 3 cups of coffee, 2 trips to the toilet and 1 dead cooked pheasant "i am not joking" my car was ready.

I cannot explain how much the car has changed both to look at and drivability, looking at the sheet regarding the set up prior to the FRS being done i can see why.

The handling is so so much better and the twisting roads up through Biggar etc where unbelievable fun:D on the way home.

All in all a great day, big shout to ABP, Dave and Craig the technician for fitment, money well spent.

Hopefully after a few more hundred miles the car will settle and once cleaned get some decent pics up.

Some before and after shots, not the best but you'll get the idea of how big my smile is.

Cheers
P.

Spot on, looks so much better! How much did that set you back?
Hi JB,

Please find enclosed breakdown supplied by ABP for your review, believe me when i say money well spent. Check under ABP forum my original dialouge and post is in there.

Here are some prices for you to think about:

1) Eibach -15mm lowering springs £164.00
Eibach front camber bolts £20.00
Eibach rear camber / toe shims £25.50
Labour to fit all of the above and set to ABP FRS £275.00
Total for all £484.50 inc vat

2) Eibach -30mm lowering springs £125.00
Eibach front camber bolts £20.00
Eibach rear camber / toe shims £25.50

Looking good mate, thinking of doing the same trip next year
I would recommend mate, if you need convincing have a blast in mine, it's only a 1.8 but you will get a good feel for the set up!

Not a bad price, not sure I'd bother with the FRS though, but I'm definitely giving the springs some serious thought. Might get the shocks upgraded too while I'm there.

Well only managed a two hour clean this morning before the skies opened again,

Just a two bucket wash + chamois , wheel clean and tyre dress, trim wax with smooth peanut butter ;)
The springs have settle now and ride height is where is is.

Yes still smiling!:D
