I woke up yesterday to find someone has kindly made what looks like a deliberate dent in my o/s/f wing -

Apart from going to Honda and getting it repaired for a fair bit of money, can anyone recommend a good bodywork specialist in the Hampshire/Surrey area?

Any advice much appreciated!

Cheers :)

Possibly a VERY silly question... link for the part specifies 'coloured part'...does that mean in Primer? Or Actually colour coded?

(I need the same wing as I have a VERY similar dent! Same colour car as you too!... group buy? :D )

That's colour coded.

If you go through someone like Cox too it will be cheaper again ;)

I live in Hampshire and pretty close to Surrey, don't travel to London much but if you could PM me the details that would be handy thanks :)

My mates dads car who was parked on the same stretch has recently had 4 air rifle shots in the back of his range rover and the back window smashed....someone clearly doesn't like us!

I'd inform your local firearms officer, as it is a 15 years sentence if they are caught discharging a weapon into a public place... :) You should be able to work out the direction it comes from. I know my FO would be most interested.

The police know about both incidents and we think we know where they shot from but haven't found any pellets yet

Odds are, you won't; the mass exerted there looks to be .22, which means slow pellet but large force transferrence, which means you'll likely not find anything more than a flattish disc, probably 20 feet away (i've been clipped that far back before, off a brick wall, the things have come back like a rocket and landed behind me... so in an undefined area you'll not find it with ease). If it was .177 I'd expect to see more penetration, as smaller object and more joules of power transferred. Best thing to do is to look for lead transfer to the metal or any paint flakes.

I know you should have to resort to this (and might look a bit sad) but how a thick car cover (possibly with a blanket underneith)? Wouldn't that spread the force and possibly reduce/stop any further damage?
