I decided to change the diesel filter in my car yesterday and carry out a service. The filter was a pain to change. I dont think it had ever been done before however now it is and the car feels a bit better. I have however noticed that it is taking longer to start the car (2-3 seconds on the starter button) it seems like it is struggling to get deisel on start-up. I think i'll try to prime the system again and see if that helps. i am just happy that i got it changed and the car started afterwards.

Hope that you used OEM Filter !!
I changed last week also that filter and needed to use little pump above that filter....
Before that pump car was normally hard to start first time - after that normally like always..
(this done my mechanic..)..

Make sure you have primed it correctly from the pump and then bled any air out.
